KOKUM MOJITO MOCKTAIL

Hello Foodies !!!😄
Welcome to my blog FOODIES HUB...
Today in this blog I'm going to share with you people very yummy KOKUM MOJITO MOCKTAIL  recipe which is very easy in making with very basic and limited ingredients. so lets get started.

KOKUM :- Garcinia indica, a plant in the mangosteen family commonly known as kokum, is a fruit-bearing tree that has culinary, pharmaceutical, and industrial uses. It is used as a staple souring agent typically in Goan cuisine and some parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka. Kokum yields a peculiar flavour and blackish red colour. As a souring agent, it is used as an alternative to tamarind in curries and other dishes from the Goa and Konkan region.
The fresh fruit is preserved with sugar to make a bright-red squash that is bottled for sale. The syrup is diluted with water to make a refreshing drink.

MOCKTAIL :- Mocktail is a non alchoholic drink, can be described as a smooth blend of only non-alcoholic beverages, which could be fresh fruit juices, syrups, cream, herbs and spices.

MOJITO :- Traditionally, a MOJITO is a cocktail that consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar (traditionally sugar cane juice), lime juice, soda water, and mint.

VIRJIN MOJITO :- A mojito that does not have alchohol in it is a ‘virgin mojito’.

VIRJIN MOJITO is one of the mocktails which is famous not only in WESTERN COUNTRIES but also in INDIA. It got more famous as it was the best replacer of cocktails.
This chilled mocktail is perfect to serve people during the hot summer months since it is incredibly easy to make. Also nowadays there are many flavours and variations used for preparing virgin mojito.

On one of my trip to GOA I happened to drink this yummy KOKUM SHERBAT so in my excitement and for the fact that how tasty it was I bought whole 1litre can of kokum syrup but as it is too much in quantity I figured out on more ways of using it so I experimented it by using in one mocktail which my mom likes a lot and yeah it turned out to be amazing and my mom loved it a lot.
